Our Financial Status

Our Lady & All Saints is entirely financially dependent on what it receives in donations from parishioners and visitors. In some countries, Italy for example, the state pays for the maintenance and repair of catholic churches. This is not the case in the UK. Whilst the Archdiocese of Liverpool owns the church and the land it is built on, the parish is entirely responsible for every aspect of its own upkeep, maintenance and repair, internally and externally. Our Lady and All Saints very much depends on your contributions, and we thank you in advance for your generosity.

Ways to Donate

There are several ways you can contribute financially to Our Lady & All Saints Church. As well as a one-off direct donation using the Donate to our Parish button here, or at the top of the page, you can also give regularly in several ways.

Regular Giving

Most parishioners support us with a monthly standing order which enables giving to be done consistently, reduces administration costs and enables our Finance Team to budget more effectively.

However, you may wish to give by weekly offertory envelope. Donors are provided with a box of envelopes into which can be placed cash or a cheque. (Cheques should be made payable to ‘Our Lady & All Saints Church’)

If you’d like to speak with someone or for details about regular giving, or either by standing order or envelope, please click the button below.

Contactless Donations

Contactless donations can be made in church, either using the contactless card machine just inside the main door or using the QR code, which is on the porch noticeboard, cards in the benches and on the weekly newsletter. You can opt in for gift aid by inputting your name on the machine.

Boost your Donation using Gift Aid

If you are a UK taxpayer, Our Lady& All Saints can recover an extra 25p for every £1 you donate, through the UK Government’s Gift Aid scheme, at no extra cost to you. Gift Aid can be applied to all donations, whether standing order, offertory envelope or contactless, but you will need to register for Gift Aid by completing the form here.

Please consider Our Lady & All Saints when you are making or re-drafting your will. Your gift will have a lasting impact, helping us to inspire and support future generations in their faith.
