Memorial Book

The Memorial Book, consisting of two volumes of the deceased of Our Lady and All Saints, was compiled by Father Gordon in 2013. At the time, the number of names totaled 980, all of whom are recorded in the Libri Defunctorum (Death Registers). The books were blessed on Sunday 3 November 2013 and can be found at the War Memorial window on the North (Left) Side of Church. The current volume is displayed in an iroko timber cabinet, with a glazed viewing lid, to allow the current page can be read.

Parishioners
who lost their lives during
World War I and II
1 9 1 4 – 1 9 1 8
1 9 39 – 1 9 45
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them

There is a War Memorial to the ten parishioners,
who gave their lives for their Country in the First World War,

A second War Memorial to Captain Cyril Ainscough,
