Our Lady and All Saints Church is set in 2 acres of grounds, within the Lancaster Lane Conservation area, and comprises mainly of open green space and mature trees, with a stream and woodland to the south. Two areas are dedicated as burial ground and footpaths give access to Brandreth Drive via Our Lady and All Saints school and Alder Lane.

The cemetery is dedicated to and continues to provide a burial ground, for past and present parishioners.
The cemetery was opened a few years after the church was completed, in 1887. The Register of Burials (bodily and cremated) is kept in The Priory. The cemetery also contains a parish ashes plot, which was opened in 2001
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The church was built between 1876 and 1884, and the original design still forms the basis of the appearance of the grounds today. Since the beginning, the estate has been maintained solely by generations of volunteers working in the grounds without the sophistication of modern machinery we have today.

During recent years, the parish have received a number of awards in the Lancashire Best Kept Village Competition, <\/strong> receiving the highest accolade in 2023. Click the button below to read all about it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
